An amalgamation of ambiance and food,Terttulia gives you a memorable Spanish experience
If the name of the place doesnt remind one about having a relaxed conversation in a sleepy, picturesque beach town along the Spanish coastline, then the quiet rustic ambience on the interiors which resemble an old Spanish villa will. Designed keeping in mind the lazy Sunday afternoon chats and the warm sunshine, the newly opened dining joint Terttulia,(earlier known as- Indyaki) promises to provide both fine diners and wayside travelers with an option of stopping over with friends to have what the owners term as,undisturbed conversations.
The fine dining section boasts of low-rise chandeliers and tables to seat small groups whilst the bar area which also overlooks the outdoors café,has an open space for larger and more informal get togethers. As far as the food is concerned one can begin with the curly fries or the Caesars Salad with Smoked Chicken and Parmesan (Rs 160) for starters. As the place also offers a variety of cocktails and mocktails, one can also try out the Sunday Sangria (Rs 250) or the Cuban Mojito (Rs 250) which are also worth mentioning.
Speaking more about the menus,Sethi says,As far as the daily breakfast menu is concerned the specials change on a daily basis. So the customers can choose from a wide variety of omelets,or English breakfast options. However, the dining menu usually changes on a weekly basis. So we have something new on the menu for everyone on almost an everyday basis. The main idea behind this was to ensure that the customer has more variety and more options to choose from,as far as the menu is concerned.
For the main course one can try the Ham and Smoked Meat Quiche (Rs 140) that has an assortment of smoked meats cooked along with ham in a soft creamy cheese base, the Lasagna of Minced Lamb and Mushroom with Buffalo Mozarella (Rs 240),which again has minced meat cooked in herbs and delicately spiced, the Risotto burnt Chilly and Garlic Prawns with Cheesy Fussili (Rs 265) or the Grilled King Fish with Cilantro Pesto,Potato Mash and Greens (Rs 290) that has grilled fish which is deboned and deveined served long with mashed potatoes.
For rounding up a meal of such epic proportions, the Cream Cheese Brownie (Rs 130),or the Mud Cake (Rs 130) are must tries. For the more adventurous at heart the Baked Blueberry Cheesecake is a option worth trying out. On the whole if a Sunday afternoon looks lazy and becons for a good conversation over good food then Terttulia located in Koregaon Park Lane five might just provide the idyllic settings for the same.
