Trance music is all about feelings,says Russian DJ Dmitry Almozov,whose stage name is ‘DJ Bobina’. The 28-year-old says that just like love,music cannot be expressed through words,it should come straight from the heart. The Muscovite,who was in town to perform at Stone Water Grill,Koregaon Park yesterday says about India’s spot on the Trance map: “Everyone is waiting for Indian artistes to explode on the world stage.”

The Contemporary Dance Academy is conducting a workshop at the Kalachhaya Cultural Centre,Senapati Bapat road,at 9.30 am on August 15. Hrishikesh Pawar,the heart behind the academy,says,“Contemporary dance forms are very new to India,so the effort is to educate people about it.” Antje Kaufmann and Etienne Aweh,Pawar’s contemporaries from the Palucca School – College of Dance at Dresden,Germany,will be a part of the workshop.
