Thai for you
For Thai food lovers, there’s more good news,as the Taj Blue Diamond hosts yet another culinary experience with an appetising array of cuisine from Thailand from June 24 to July 5 between 7 and 11.30 pm. Whether chilly-hot or bland, harmony is the guiding principle behind each Thai dish. Thai cuisine is essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences harmoniously combined into something unique. It is a perfect balance of five fundamental flavours – spicy, sour, sweet, salty, and bitter. At the Whispering Bamboo restaurant, the festival will display an elaborate menu. Signature dishes such as Sakuna Chowsuan Makam (Golden Fried Prawns),Phad Gai Bai Kapprao (stir fried chicken),Hel Phad Prik Haend (Water Chestnut and Cashew nuts with red chilly paste),Phad Priao Warn Tao (Silky bean curd) have been prepared by Chef Dhan Bahadur; imaginative cuisine and soothing décor create a memorable dining experience.

Musical magic
This Sunday, the Stone Water Grill is playing host to Bangalore-based music maestro DJ Akshay. A house music aficionado,Akshay mixes versatile music ranging from underground sounds of New York to the high-octane dance beats from Ibiza. His music involves tech and progressive house tunes. He says it’s music therapy, but to believe it,it’s a good idea to check it out yourself at the Stone Water Grill,tomorrow,5 pm onwards.

All duck-ed up
For those who like to dig into non-vegetarian delights,Soho/Toscana is out with a new menu, which focuses on non-vegetarian dishes. One such dish is Al Sugo Di Antara (a duck sauce made in slow cooling version). An Italian preparation, this dish is made with the most authentic ingredients and promises a taste of Italy, right here in Pune.
