City-based Finolex Industries Limited has been honoured as the best company in India's petrochemicals and polymers sector by the Dun & Bradstreet Rolta Corporate Award 2008.

City-based Finolex Industries Limited has been honoured as the best company in India’s petrochemicals and polymers sector by the Dun & Bradstreet Rolta Corporate Award 2008. Finolex Asst-Managing Director Saurabh S. Dhanorkar received the award from K K Singh,chairman,Rolta India Limited,in a grand function held recently at Mumbai’ at J. W. Marriot Hotel.

The function also witnessed the release of a publication D&B’s Top 500 Companies by David Emery,president of Asia Pacific for Dun & Bradstreet. Chairman,Indian Bank,M S Sunder Rajan was the special guest of honour for the function.

Expressing happiness over the award,Dhanorkar said it is a matter of great pride for Finolex to be selected as the best Indian company in the petrochemicals and polymers sector. Finolex,which always lays great stress on high quality for its products,has as its motto “Gets people together,” he said. Dhanorkar said the award was a mark of recognition for both these strengths of Finolex. He said the credit for the award is due to the company’s officers,staff,customers and shareholders.

It is important to note that Finolex was selected for the award on the basis of its total income,net profit,net worth,ratio of net profit to sales,return on net worth,average price of its shares on the stock market,growth in net income and growth in net profit.
