10th anniversary of ISB&M held
The International School of Business and Media (ISB&M) celebrated their 10th anniversary with a four day event,FORZA recently. FORZA that stands for Force,Zest and Attitude,is an event that is held every year,wherein all the campuses of ISB&M from Pune,Kolkata,Noida and Bangalore get together and celebrate the anniversary. The four days had a number of events both on and off the stage. One of the highlights of the event was the fashion show,where the students walked the ramp. A corporate walk was attended by a number of corporate leaders from across the country,like Puja Biyani,senior manager HR,ICICI Prudential AMC; Sai Suryanarayan,retail head HR,ING Vysya and Gajendra Chandel,president HR,TACO Group.

Career Fair
Spirit of International Education and Careers ( SIEC) is presenting an International Education and Career Fair on August 8,at Hotel Orbett,Apte Road. The event mainly comprises of two major activities. A presentation on international career options after overseas education in various fields will be held between 11 am and 12.30 pm,followed by a meet by the representatives and experts. The meet which will be between 1 and 5 pm,will guide the students in overseas admission procedure in countries like New Zealand,UK,Canada,Germany.

Engineering fest
IIT Madras,as part of its annual fest Shaastra,will be organising a four-day technical festival called ‘Imagineering Impact’,from September 29 to October 3 this year. The festival will include a host of competitions,lectures and workshops. Shaastra has been honoured with an ISO 9001:2008 certificate,which makes it the first technical festival to be given this rating.It also aims to showcase various engineering projects by the students of IIT Madras. Known as the spirit of engineering (SOE) projects,the display will include the quadrotor,paper flapper,Robo Snake and the autonomous all-terrain ground vehicle,which will be competing in the DRDO finals.
