The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) will run a ‘Bharat Tirth’ special tourist train to facilitate people to visit various religious places from Pune Station on March 19. IRCTC additional general manager Rahul Himalaya said the tour would end on March 29 and the train will run via Kalyan,Vadodara,Ujjain,Udaipur,Nathdwara,Ranakpur,Jaipur,Jodhpur,Bikaner,Jammu (Vaishnodevi),Ajmer (Pushkar),Ratlam,Vadodara,Kalyan and back to Pune. Three packages of budget (Rs 5,650/person),standard (Rs 10,960) and deluxe (Rs 19,400) will be available.

Report bribe to ACB: civic chief to corporators

Civic commissioner Mahesh Zagade on Thursday said corporators should approach the anti-corruption bureau if they found any civic officials demanding a bribe. He also told the general body meeting that he would help corporators if they found it difficult to go to the ACB. PMC anti-encroachment cell chief Ramesh Shelar,who stood up to answer the queries about hoardings at the meeting could not give satisfactory answers. Agitated corporators had then asked the administration to remove him from the department,alleging that he was not doing his duty properly.
