Building incomplete,Arabi-Farsi Univ session delayed

Chief Minister Mayawati’s ambitious project Manyavar Sri Kanshi Ram Ji Urdu Arabi Farsi University’s session will not start this year because of the incomplete construction of the university building and pending sanction for the teachers’ posts,it was decided in the review meeting held on November 1.

The Secretary of UP Higher Education Department,Awanish Kumar Awasthi,said,“The construction of the university was expected be completed by October month but now it is likely to be over by December. So its not possible to start the session this year.”

Vice-Chancellor of the university Anis Ansari said the construction in the campus was enough to start the classes but the government had not given the sanction yet for appointing teachers for which the university had sent the proposal in January,he said.

The establishment of the university was announced in 2009 and the notification was issued in 2010.

This being the last year of Mayawati government,the university was expected to start its session from this year.
