Pune Cambridge Public School opened a new branch recently in the city with the president of the institute Tukaram Kunjir inaugurating the school .The chief guest present at the occasion of the opening ceremony,was actor Makarand Anaspure who advised parents to look after the young talents,Parents should recognize the potential of the students he said. Giving the example of Dr Baba Amte,Prakash Amte,Abhay Bang and Sindhutai Sapkal,he said,one should emulate them in their life,as money is not the only parameter of success. Later,Prof Digambar Durgade,gave valuable advices to the parents adding that students should be allowed freedom and emphasis should be given to reading and overall development of the children.

Young talent

KANGAROO Kids recently presented a concert with the theme Whole New World of Fantasy,with kids presenting various plays and skits.The concert depicted a collection of popular fairy tales and superheroes celebrated across all generations. The stories were chosen to bring to light the gamut of the conflicting human emotions we feel,experience and express. Other timeless stories included those of Mowgli’s lessons learnt from Sher Khan and Baloo (Jungle Book),Simba’s experiences with politics within the family (Lion King) and Ariel’s passions to become a part of the world beyond the seas (The Little Mermaid). The timeless characters of Fairyland and Superheroes were also merged into a medley performance to spellbind and charm the spectators.
