Almost 350 kids of KG,class one and two of DSK School grooved to various dance forms on its annual day function organized recently. The event held at Tilak Smarak Mandir started with Ganesha prayer and concluded with a patriotic group song.The students in the age group of 3-7 years performed on the popular songs like bum bum bole,aggo bai dhaggo bai,tap dance and so on. All kids were given prizes at the hands of Hemanti Kulkarni,Chairperson,DSK School. The compeering was done by class 3 students Gourang Kane,Mrunal Kshirsikar,Isha Thorat. Sundari Jaishankar proposed a vote of thanks.

Rims International School at Kondhwa was recently visited by Dr Jalinder Supekar ,DCP Zone 4 along with V T Pawar ,ACP Wanowrie,and Inspector Ragnath Gaykar at their school campus at N I B M, Kondhwa. After a thorough inspection of the security systems present at the school premises,they requested the managing director of the school,Museeb Rais to assemble the students in their assembly hall .Supekar mentioned that he was very pleased with all the tiers of security systems maintained in the school including the CCTV coverage of every corner of the school campus,but was equally concerned about the security of the students after they leave the school campus. He addressed the students and guided them about the precautionary measures they should take for their personal security as well as to be responsible members of the society. ”Security knows no boundaries and it can be freely availed of,by each individual if he or she takes proper precautions to avert serious mishaps which recently rocked the peaceful city of Pune,” Supekar added.

Annual Day

The Fine Arts Department of S.P.M. Secondary School organized an Annual Prize Day program at Bharat Natya Mandir recently. The function was presided over by Marathi actress Jyoti Subhash. The main attraction of the program was a play,Soyare based on environmental issues. The songs were sung by Tushar Deshpande,Ashish Kulkarni and Nandan Pitre. The program concluded with the prize distribution ceremony.
