The producers of recently released Marathi feature film Agnidivya has sent a proposal to the Film Federation of India to recommend the film as an official entry for Oscar Awards from India.
The film is based on the novel of renowned author Late C T Khanolkar Agochar. According to producer Pyarelal Chaudhari,the proposal was sent to the Film Federation of India recently.
While Ajit Shirole has directed the movie,screenplay and dialogues are written by Raj Kazi. Subodh Bhave,Neha Pendse,Reema,Mohan Agashe,Mohan Joshi,Ameya Wagh and Chittaranjan Kolhatakar have acted in the film. Suresh Deshmane is cinematographer for the movie.
Rahul Ghorpade has done music for the film composing poems of legendary poets Shanta Shelke,N D Mahanor,Arati Prabhu and N V Tilak.
