TV serial actors Rupali Ganguly and Vishal Singh visited the city on Wednesday to promote their new serial Parvarrish Kuchh Khatti Kuchh Meethi on Sony. The duo play the role of husband and wife in the serial which focuses on the parent-child relationship. “The story is of nurturing,supporting and guiding children. It unfurls the diverse roles played by parents while bringing up their kids,” they said. “I’m not married yet,but when I become a father,I think I’d be just like my character in the show,” Singh said. Ganguly imparted some tips to parents – “Parents should befriend their children and take them into confidence,” she said. “The show is very light-hearted and it will provide parents with easy solutions,” she added.

Artists Manjiri More,Arvind Dani,Kavita Salunke and Dhanashree Patil are exhibiting their paintings at the ‘Chourang’ show at the Darpan Art Gallery,Senapati Bapat Road. The exhibition was inaugurated on Wednesday by writer Sudhir Moghe and artist Milind Mullick. Each artist has a unique styles and the display includes on canvas,watercolor on paper and acrylic on canvas. More specialises in graphite and charcoal medium of paintings while Salunke’s forte is water color,acrylic and oil painting. Dani is a graphic designer whose works have a blend of colours,light and forceful brushwork. The exhibition will be on till December 13.
