Elegy to a Rollerskating Rink, a video clip taken from a mobile phone and a part of Antecedent Garden,alludes to memories of childhood and the constant change that accompanies the process of growing up. Linking the idea of one’s past to change,Sen says,“You can change your past as you go along. You can make it what you want it to be.”

Continuing with the concept of change are the second and third works,a video called I Am Not Out To Create Atmospheres,and a series of photographs titled Stage. Both the video and the photographs document the changes Delhi was undergoing in preparation for the Commonwealth Games last year. The video shows parts of Delhi that the artist frequents and began to notice changes in,such as a new building coming up next to the Lodhi crematorium that has been around for ages. As Sen puts it,“It is difficult to understand the present with everything constantly changing. This work is a simulation of that.”
