Kshay,which officially released in India on June 15,comes wrapped in impressive credentials. It has bagged the Grand Jury prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (2012) and Best Director at the South Asian International Film Festival in New York (2011) among others. Now,after a long exercise to find an Indian distributor,the 92-minute black-and-white film is being screened as part of PVRs Directors Rare in Delhi and Mumbai. Directed by the Mumbai-based Karan Gour,the film revolves around a woman who is overwhelmed with her own intangible desires and obsesses over an unfinished idol of Lakshmi. Gour,for his part,is still trying for a commercial release.
