A Date with Shakti

Every month requires a different move and a new expression. Ask Zee’s Dance India Dance Season 2 winner Shakti Mohan,who has posed for a calendar called ‘Nritya Shakti’,depicting the New Year in 12 dance postures. The calendar has been conceptualised by her and shot by well-known fashion photographer Pravin Talan.

“Pravin Talan suggested that I should make a dance calendar,” says Mohan.

The limited edition calendar also has on board Mohan’s sister,Mukti,who is also a dancer and model. Mukti has designed Shakti’s costume and the look for the calendar along with stylist Josie.
