The Vigilance Bureau has nabbed a junior engineer posted of the Punjab State Electricity Board Jagraon and lineman Amrit Pal for demanding Rs 20,000 bribe from one Baljeet Singh Kaonke. Gurcharan Singh,DSP VB,said that,These accused had gone to Baljeet Singhs resident recently for checking where they found the seal of the meter tempered with. They first tried to scare Baljeet by telling him about the consequences he would have to face and later told him to pay Rs 20000 as bribe. DSP added,Baljeet informed us we nabbed the duo red-handed.
