Toddler ‘raped’ in Bulandshahr

A 15-month-old girl was allegedly raped by a drunken man at a marriage ceremony,leaving her critically injured in Pahasu police station area of Bulandshahr district on Thursday. The victim is undergoing treatment in a Meerut hospital.

The accused was beaten up by the locals and handed over to the police later.

Bulandshahr SSP Gulab Singh said the girl’s parents had come to attend a marriage ceremony at Heerapur village on Wednesday night. The girl was left sleeping on the terrace while her parents were busy in the rituals of the marriage.
