SP MLA faces public ire

Samajwadi Party MLA from Aligarh Zafar Alam had to face the ire of public when he went to visit the family of a man who had been found dead early on Saturday.

Samajwadi Party MLA from Aligarh Zafar Alam had to face the ire of public when he went to visit the family of a man who had been found dead early on Saturday. The mob pelted stones at the cavalcade and chased away the MLA,also damaging one of the vehicles. Three persons accompanying the legislator suffered minor injuries in the stone pelting.

The police said Alam had gone to attend the funeral of Mohammed Sadiq,who used to run a metal factory. Sadiq had been missing since Monday and his body was recovered by the police today from the house of one of his colleagues,Idrees. Police recovered Sadiqs body after arresting Idrees.
