Seven IPS officers transferred

The state government transferred seven IPS officers on Wednesday. Nilesh Kumar has been appointed as the Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order),Lucknow. He was the Commandant of 25th Battalion PAC,Rae Bareli. DK Thakur,who was Superintendent of Police,Unnao has been asked to join as SP (EOW),Kanpur. Shridhar Pathak who was commandant of 37th Battalion PAC,Kanpur has been made SP,Auraiya. Dr N Ravindar,who was commandant of the 36th Battalion PAC,Varanasi, has been made the SP,Unnao. The SP of Auraiya,Nachiketa Jha,has been released for Central deputation. Inspector General Harish Chand Kasham has been made IG,PAC headquarter,Lucknow,while transfer of IG Harish Chand Kashyap has been cancelled.
