Ernst & Young is UP’s ‘knowledge partner’

Ernst and Young has been selected as “Knowledge Partner” to assist the UP govt in “promoting the state as the most preferred investment destination in the country” and also explore investment opportunities in identified focus sectors.

The agreement was signed between Udyog Bandhu,the state government’s agency for investment promotion,and Ernst and Young on Thursday in Lucknow.

Health workers protest

The state’s Tuberculosis Control Employees’ Welfare Association Thursday protested against the Centre’s decision to not raise their salaries. The state had earlier proposed a hike in the salaries of TB health workers.
