Very Filmy

In public eye

On a publicity spree these days,Aamir Khan doesn’t miss any opportunity when it shows up. The Republic Day marked five years of the release of his highly acclaimed Rang De Basanti and Aamir took the initiative of organising a special screening of the film for media along with the cast and crew. When the star arrived with Kiran Rao in tow like at all events these days,we were left wondering whether it’s a screening of RDB or Dhobi Ghat. The latter, probably.

Lethal Combination

Looks like the success of Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai has prompted Ajay Devgn to repeat a few moves from the movie in his next Rascals. To begin with,he is sporting a moustache and romancing Kangna Ranaut yet again. After all his mousche was quite the talk of the town in the gangster movie and his sizzling chemistry with Kangna made quite a few heads turn. Let’s see if the killer combination will again grab headlines.

Lady Luck

Last year was certainly dismal for Vipul Shah, with Action Replayy making it to the list of Bollywood’s biggest flops. But new year brings new hope to the director-producer,whose production venture Kucch Love Jaisa is ready to hit the screens in March. Directed by Barnali Ray Shukla, this movie is a romantic comedy starring Vipul’s wife Shifaali Shah and Rahul Bose. A story of a housewife and a thief,it certainly fits the new wave in Bollywood. Now let’s hope,Shifaali’s acting skills do the trick and pull Vipul out of his misery.
