Post the association with the Men’s Fashion Week in Delhi, lifestyle brand Van Heusen has now launched a couture line for men,the first collection of which will be designed by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. “Every designer wants to be able to reach out to people,” remarked Khanna at the launch at the brand showroom in Connaught Place showroom. “Couture fashion for men doesn’t mean it has to be feminine,or something dramatic,” joked Gandhi,“You can have one or two garments for drama, but it’s more important for the clothes to be wearable,” he added.

The duo,who was the finale designers at the Men’s Fashion Week in 2009 will put up the same collection for sale. The collection, which fuses symmetrical, edgy patterns with natural, rustic and muted tones,is priced between Rs. 1800 – 2500 for shirts,Rs. 2000- 3000 for trousers, and Rs 7000 upwards for linen jackets.
