Following several rounds of talks and re-calculation of land dues, a total of nine builders in Greater Noida Authority have so far paid the 25% amount required to initiate the process of registration of flats according to the Amitabh Kant committee relief package.

Under the plan, the registry of stalled flats can only begin when the builder pays 25% of outstanding land dues after adjusting the zero-period relief within 60 days.

Under the zero-period waiver clause, interest and penal interest will not be levied on the builder for two years, and the installments will be shifted beyond it. Using this formula, the total land dues of the builders will be reduced by around 20 percent.
