High Court seeks NGO response
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought suggestions from non-government organisations on short-term measures to provide shelter to the homeless in Delhi. A Division Bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Madan B Lokur and Justice Mukta Gupta asked rights activist Miloon Kothari to visit shelters and file a report by February 24.

DU pulled up for salary non-payment
The High Court has ruled that the non-payment of salaries to public servants amounts to the deprivation of their rights. Justice S N Aggarwal passed the order on the plea of Professor Devendra Mishra of Delhi University,who told the court that while he was allowed to teach at DU after the age of retirement,no salary was paid to him.
