* Mumbai under-19 team took firm command of their Cooch Behar semi-final clash against Delhi at the St. Stephen’s ground on Monday. Mumbai were 295 for the loss of two wickets at stumps on Day Two,when bad light stopped play for the second day in a row. Kaustubh Pawar was unbeaten on 154 while Siddhesh Lad was the only wicket to fall on 100. Vikas Mishra bowled 32 overs for the hosts,with returns of 1/48.
Brief scores: Mumbai u-19 295/2 in 115 overs (K Pawar batting 154,S Lad 100; V Mishra 1/48) vs Delhi u-19.

Shweta upsets Ekterina
* Delhi girl Shweta Rana upset seventh seed Ekterina Tour of Israel in the first round of the ONGC-ITF Junior at DKS Sports Complex courts in Kolkata on Monday. Shweta won the match 6-2,4-6,6-2.

Saloni Dogra wins gold
* Saloni Dogra,who won gold in the junior sections of the taek-wondo,helped Delhi win the team title in the national taek-wondo championship here last week. The other teams participating in the championships included Punjab,Haryana,Jammu and Kashmir,Rajasthan,Maharashtra,Orissa and Tamil Nadu among others.

CMT thrash Consol
* CMT scored a six-wicket win over Consol Shipping in the Aero Marine cricket tournament. In another match,Shipping Line PMA defeated Oscar Logistic. PMA Shipping,Mearsk Lines,CMT Shipping,Opal Goodrich,Oscar Logistic,Console Shipping,Aero Marine Logistics are the teams particiapting in the tournament.

Luvkush win Triveni Trophy
* Rahul Kumar’s 55 helped Luvkush International school beat KN Colts by 3 runs to life the Mata Triveni Devi Srivastava memorial under-14 cricket tournament at the Jheel ground. Rahul was also adjudged the best batsman of the tournament,while teammate Akash Sharma was given the best bowler award. Aditya Srivastava was the man of the tournament.
