Title for Ganga school
The Ganga International school won the CBSE North Zone football championship in the U-19 girls category defeating Sacred Heart,Ambala 3-0 to clinch the title. Meanwhile in the hardline match played between Ahlcon School and bal Bharti,Ahlcon routed Bal Bharti 4-3 in the sudden death round when both teams remained 0-0 till the final whistle.
Easy for TAFS,Sanskriti
Tilak Subbas late strike in the second half enabled The Air Force Bal Bharti School defeat Springdales,Dhaula Kuan 1-0 in the Jaguar FC U-14 football tournament being played at Kathuria Public School. In the second match of the day,Tagore International beat Laxman Public School by similar goal count when Sultan Mohd netted home a curling cross to seal the match. The third match between Modern school and GD Goenka was decided in favour of Modern school as Ayush arora helped his team script 1-0 win over the latter. In the fourth match played at Modern School,Barakhamba,The home team suffered a draw against Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. Raghav Sharma scored the lead for the Barakhamba school which was minutes later equalised by Aditya. The last match of the day was played between Sanskriti school and St. Columbus at sanskriti school. Rehat singh Virk scored for Sanskriti to register a win for his School.
