The Indian Embassy in Israel on Thursday issued an advisory to all Indians in the country to remain vigilant in view of the prevailing situation in the region.

“In view of the prevailing situation in the region, all Indian nationals currently in Israel are advised to remain vigilant and strictly adhere to the safety guidelines and protocols issued by the Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command,” the Indian Embassy said in a social media post.

The Indian mission also urged Indian nationals to avoid all non-essential travel to Israel.

The Embassy also said that in case of any emergency, Indian nationals can contact the 24×7 helpline via phone or email.

The advisory comes at a time when the entire region is on alert over the ongoing protests in Iran.

The US has warned of military intervention in Iran if the regime continues to kill protesters. In return, Iran has vowed to attack US allies in the Middle East, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
