Battleground Bollywood

After wooing her in Wallah Re Wallah,Salman Khan is ready to battle it out with his ex Katrina Kaif at the box-office on May 27 next year. The actor who delivered 2010’s biggest hit,Dabangg, will be seen opposite Asin in Anees Bazmi’s Ready. Kat,on the other hand, teams up with Farhan Akhtar & Co in his home production Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. And even though the two films are different in nature, the audience will have to choose between the flavour of the season Sallu and Sheila with a multi-star cast. So who do you think will win the Superstar Khan Vs Lucky Charm Katrina battle?

Future gazing

A SCENE in Sudhir Mishra’s Tera Kya Hoga Johny required Neil Nitin Mukesh to ride over JJ Flyover and peek into Shahana Goswami’s house. The crew spent over a week trying to get the right house at the appropriate height and distance from the flyover. But it took at least 25 trips up and down the flyover before Neil could get the sequence right. That’s not good news given that Neil is yet to deliver the first hit of his career. It makes us wonder: if this film fails too, tera kya hoga Neil?

No reservation

NOW that Ajay Devgn has confirmed he is not a part of his ‘good friend’ Prakash Jha’s Arakshan,a movie that deals with the reservation issue, speculation is rife about Saif Ali Khan replacing him. The movie, which is to star Amitabh Bachchan,Manoj Bajpayee,Prateik and Deepika Padukone,is considered one of the biggest casting coups of the coming year. But we wonder what made Saifu step into the project? After having engraved in audience’s mind his image as a loverboy — on screen and off it — we wonder if the star is missing the Langda Tyagi acclaim.
