UIET Idea Catalyst organised

The UIET department at Panjab University organised an enterpreneurship event,Idea Catalyt,on October 12,13 and 14 as a part of its annual festival,Aavishkar.

There was a one-on-one student-mentor interaction as the mentors gave tips on how to turn an idea into a business plan. The basic purpose of the event was to help start a company in 54 hours. 65 participants attended the first day of the workshop. The participants pitched in their ideas and a vote for the most feasible idea was cast amongst those present which would get Rs 50,000. The mentors also talked about hurdles that one faces while setting up a company and ways to overcome them.
