Student held for rash driving

A student of DAV School,Sector 15,was arrested for rash and negligent driving late Thursday evening. The accused,identified as Paras Bajaj (18) was driving his Zen car at breakneck speed and was spotted by UT SSP H S Doon who apprehended him after a chase.

According to sources,the teenager’s car hit the SSP’s vehicle and jumped the traffic signal. The police have summoned the parents of the accused and two other who were in the car. The other two have been let off after a warning.
