After successfully rolling out entertainment packages like Big Star IMA awards and Big Star Entertainment awards,Big Live,an entertainment vertical from Reliance Broadcast Network,has announced the Big Punjabi New Talent Awards. The awards will acknowledge upcoming stars across different genres,including movies,television,sports,dance,singing,fashion and theatre. Apart from the Punjab edition,the awards will be hosted across Maharashtra,Tamil Nadu,

Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh,West Bengal,Uttar Pradesh,Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Rabe T Iyer,business head,Big Live and Big Street,points out,“These awards touch the pulse of the local audiences across the regions. We understand and value regional stars of today,who will be the most promising stars of tomorrow,and want to offer them an unbiased platform that gives them recognition.” The categories have been selected after a detailed mapping of the emerging talent across the states. The finalists will be selected through an eminent jury,which will comprise stalwarts from the industry. Once the nominees are selected,the people in the region will be asked to vote for their favourite.
