Revenue patwari suspended for tampering with records
Mohali: Cracking the whip against delinquent and negligent public servants,the district administration on Friday placed revenue patwari Jasveer Singh under suspension for tampering with revenue records and recommended stern departmental action against four other district officials who were found absent from duty during office hours during a surprise check at their respective offices.
Two-day MBA fair starts

Forest wood thieves assault sarpanch
Mohali: Two villagers Kuldeep Singh alias Billu and his brother Shinder Singh allegedly assaulted Gurcharan Singh,sarpanch of Mirzapur village on the Punjab-Himachal Pradesh border in Mohali district,and passed casteist remarks against him for stopping them from stealing wood from the village forest area.
