Chef Vineet Chopra has put together dishes that don’t really bring in global cuisine but make an effort to stay with the sporty theme. If you were to order Olympic Torch Relay,be pleasantly surprised when chicken morsels come served on a sword with a burning flame. Gimmicky? Maybe. The Seven Sisters Cliff is a platter of assorted vegetable kebabs while Water Polo is another name for a vegetable soup. While the mascots of the London 2012 Olympics Games are Wenlock and Mandeville,at Cloud 9 the signature dish — a leg of lamb — has been christened The Olympic Mascot. You can also treat yourself to a Gold Medal in the dessert section that is a pineapple boat with scoops of ice cream and fresh fruit. Hotel Mountview is also under an Olympic siege with large cut-outs and posters propped up all across the hotel. One can also catch screenings of the Games in the hotel’s cafe,Round the Clock.
