Chaos erupted at singer Kailash Kher’s show in Gwalior as the audience members broke through the barricades and surrounded the stage. The event was being held on the occasion of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary. The audience in the area seemed to be enjoying his popular songs, but it appeared as though they got a little too excited as they started jumping over the barricades around the stage. At one point, Kailash had to stop the show and warn the crowd to behave, or he would leave the show.
“Humne aapki prashansa ki aur aap itna janwargiri kar rahe hain. Janwargiri mat kariye please. (I have praised you and you are behaving like animals. Please don’t display such animal-like behaviour.)” he could be heard saying in one the videos.
In another video, Kailash was heard telling the audience to stay away from his team’s musical instruments, or he would leave then and there. There are various other videos from the incident where people can be seen jumping over barricades and surrounding the stage.
