Hosts SD Public School,Sector 32 continued their fine form as their pugilists claimed four gold medals on the concluding day to hand them the overall title in the 25th Chandigarh State Sub-Junior Men Boxing Championship held at the school premises. The hosts won the title with 36 points while Guru Nanak Khalsa School,Sector 30 claimed the second spot with seven points in the championship.

Dhanveer of Government Model School,Sector 36 was declared the best boxer of the tournament while Deepak of Government Model School,Sector 37 was declared the best looser.

In the 42 kg category,Kamal of SD Public School,Sector 32 claimed the top spot with a win over Deepak of Government Model School,Sector 32. Kamal dominated the proceedings right from the start in the bout and emerged as the winner after the bout.

In the 46 Kg category final,Himanshu of SD Public School,Sector 32 ended the challenge of Masih of Government Model School,Sector 32 with a straight win. Himanshu claimed the second gold for his team. It was also easy going for Rohit of SD Public School,Sector 32 as he ended the challenge of Nikash of Guru Nanak Khalsa School,Sector 30 to claim the third gold medal for the team.
