The police on Thursday said the 17-year-old victim in gangrape case was sold for Rs 15,000 by two persons in Delhi to the main accused,Rakesh.
The police took the girl to Shimlas hotel for identification of the room,where she was allegedly gangraped.
She was a student of Class XI in Delhi. She was brought from Delhi on pretext that she would be admitted for a course for air hostesses.
They had reached GH 79,a housing society,in Panchkula by August 22. By evening,they left for Shimla along with three others. During the stay in a hotel in Shimla,she was allegedly raped.
She was brought back on August 23 to Sector 20 again.
As per the police,she insisted on going back,but Rakesh,Uttam,Pankaj and Uma Koirala did not allow.
She started shouting that she was being forcibly kept there.
On listening to her cries,neighbourers informed the police.
Rakesh is in police custody till August 27 and the other three are in judicial custody.
The victims statement has been recorded before the magistrate.
