In the picture below, one can see that one plant has flowers of different colours. This is all thanks to those gardeners who are always on prowl for something new. Originally, euphorbia was an insignificant, thorny and trailing plant that bore two deep red flowers at the terminal. Also known as the crown of thorns, this plant is revered by Christians, who believe this to be the mythical crown of thorns that was tied on the Christs head. The deep red flowers at the terminal are believed to be the blood drops. However, the new species of euphorbia have very bold flowers,in different colours. A display of group of euphorbia with different hues looks very pretty.
