Do you also want to have your geraniums to flower with the same intensity as in the picture above? Then, transplant the cuttings along with roots in well-fed pots. The mixture in the pot should consist of one part each of soil, sand and well-rotten farmyard manure. Also add 100 grams of superphosphate to this mixture. You can transplant dahlia in a similar fashion. In case the cuttings are still developing roots, you can delay transplating them by another week or 10 days. Don’t keep at the roots by extracting the cuttings from the sand. The health of new leaves will indicate that all is well. Do not add fertilisers to the pots for at least a fortnight.
