When we think of kachnar,we are reminded of various culinary recipes. Kachnar is very important from the gardens point of view too as it bears flowers aplenty. The beauty about this plant is that it is available as tree,shrub,climber and in miniature form too. This is normally used in parks in beds. But growing a shrub or two in the home garden can meet the requirement of those who want to have a white flowering shrub. There is religious attachment to this shrub too. The flower represents Goddess Lakshmi.
Are there some winter grasses that could be grown for drying purpose and for using in arrangements?

Yes,we can grow bromus grass,lagurus and briza. These belong to grass family and can be grown here easily.
Can statice,cineraria,brussels sprout and leek be grown under these conditions? If so,when and from where can I get the seeds?

Yes,you can easily grow all the above flower and vegetables. The seeds can be obtained from any of seed seller stores.
Can I grow aloe vera here? Should I grow it in the ground or a pot?

Aloe vera can be grown easily and with almost no care. It grows well both in ground and pots.

I had sown winter flower seeds well in advance and some of these are ready for transplanting. Can I transplant these now or will it be too early?
