DGP meets RSS leader

State Director General of Police P S Gill paid a visit to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Kashmiri Lal Khanna in Jalandhar last Friday. The meeting assumes significance since Gill is known to be aspiring for a SAD ticket from Moga constituency for the upcoming Assembly elections. Khanna,one of the top RSS leaders in Punjab,is the in-charge of RSS political wing in the state. Considered to be an upright and dedicated leader,Khanna plays a big role in all political decisions of the state BJP. Though Khanna was not available for comments,a RSS leader close to him said it was a “successful” meeting.
