"I have no dispute with the RSS. If the RSS is an organisation of Hindus, Digvijaya Singh too is a Hindu. Then why this hostility," Digvijaya Singh said, when asked by reporters why the BJP dubs him as anti-RSS and anti-Hindu.

Bassi over the ongoing JNU controversy, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Somnath Bharti on Friday alleged it seems that the Delhi Police Commissioner is loyal to the 'Khaki' pants worn by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers. He said the Delhi Police is taking haphazard action. When Bassi talks about the 'khaki', it is not clear whether he is talking about the policemen, who wear the 'khaki' uniform or the 'Khaki' pants which the RSS workers wear.
Lucknow, Feb 18 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has done nothing for Dalits in Uttar Pradesh and added that the latter is of the view that their plight would drastically change for the better if the Congress Party joins hands with them. Kolkata, Feb 17 (ANI): Students of Jadavpur University in West Bengal took to streets expressing solidarity with the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) demanding release of student leader booked on sedition charges. JNU Students’ Union President Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested last week on sedition charges after a group of youngsters organised an event in protest of the execution of 2001 parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru. Jadavpur University students shouted slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Students and academics of the JNU continue to boycott classes to protest against government.
New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Hitting out at Donald Trump for mocking a Sikh man who was ejected from his campaign rally, Congress leader Sandeep Dixit on Wednesday said that there was no difference between the mindset of the U.S. Republican presidential hopeful and that of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) who want a 'unified, monolithic' society without freedom or diversity. He added that "Donald Trump's thinking is exactly the same as the RSS. These are the people who cannot tolerate any difference...who want a unified, monolithic society and are against freedom of equality and diversity," Asserting that Trump represented one of the most 'orthodox and retrogressive' elements of American society, he stated that the US has a majority of people who hate anybody 'different'.
