Police denies alleged reports of rape in Hisar

Hisar, Feb 25 (ANI): Haryana Director General of Police Yashpal Singhal on Thursday denied the presence of any evidence in the alleged rape incident during the recent quota protests in Hisar, Haryana. According to local media reports, women passengers were stopped on the national highway near Murthal in Haryana on early Monday morning and were dragged to the surrounding fields and raped. Further probe is underway.

Bizarre physical test: Uttarakhand DGP orders probe

Dehradun, Jan 27 (ANI): Uttarakhand DGP BS Sidhu on Wednesday said appropriate action would be taken against those who conducted a bizarre fitness test, where constables were told to carry cops on their backs. They were made to go through some bizarre physical tests in the presence of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
