A Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today directed Panjab University to award Rubinder Brar a Gold Medal,along with all the other recognitions he is entitled to,within six weeks for having topped the Bachelor of Engineering Examination held in 1992.

Chandigarh: A Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today directed Panjab University (PU) to award Rubinder Brar a Gold Medal,along with all the other recognitions he is entitled to,within six weeks for having topped the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Examination held in 1992. Brar joined the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) at Punjab Engineering College,Chandigarh,in 1988 and completed the degree in 1992 in the First Division with Honours,scoring 6,497 marks out of 8,000.
