2000 extra buses from Bengaluru during Ugadi and Eid festivals

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) announced on Wednesday that it would operate 2,000 additional buses to accommodate travellers during the Ugadi and Eid al-Fitr festivals.

With Ugadi on March 30 and Eid al-Fitr expected on March 31, the KSRTC has arranged extra bus services from Bengaluru to various destinations between March 28 and 30. Return services from different locations back to Bengaluru will be available on March 31, according to an official statement.

Special buses will operate from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda bus station to destinations including Dharmasthala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubbali, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, among other locations. Additionally, buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station will cater to travellers heading to Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, and Madikeri.
