NComputing fastest growing co in enterprise client device mkt in Q2: IDC

NComputing grew over 70% quarter over quarter on a worldwide basis.

NComputing,one of the leaders in accelerating the adoption of desktop virtualisation,has been recognised as the fastest growing vendor in the worldwide enterprise client device market in the second quarter of 2013,the company said in a statement.

According to the IDC Worldwide Enterprise Client Device Tracker Q2 2013,NComputing showed 70% Q-o-Q growth,as well as 65% Y-o-Y growth,far stronger than Dell Wyse or HP.

The impressive showing closed the market share gap between NComputing and the two traditional market leaders to just a few percentage points,claims the company.

The report tracked quarterly growth and shipments from Q2 2012 to Q2 2013 for 583 thin client vendors,with NComputing not only as the third ranked vendor for worldwide client device shipments,but with the highest growth Q-o-Q and Y-o-Y.

The report also shows that NComputing increased its number one market share position in the APAC/Japan region,with Q-o-Q growth of 138.93%.

According to the report,NComputing is No 1 desktop virtualisation company in India with a market share of 78.43%. The company has also maintained its leadership position with 30.7%3 market share in the APAC region,miles ahead of some decades-old IT majors.
