Wheat dara eases on reduced offtake

In restricted activity,wheat dara prices traded lower by Rs 10 per quintal.

In restricted activity,wheat dara prices traded lower by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by flour mills.

However,other grains,including rice,held steady. Marketmen said reduced offtake by flour mills against adequate stocks position mainly led to a decline in wheat dara prices.

In the national capital,wheat dara (for mills) declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,540-1,550 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded lower by Rs 15 to Rs 1,550- 1,555 per 90 kg.

The following are today’s quotations per quintal: Wheat MP (deshi) 2,000-2,200,Wheat dara (for mills) 1,540-1,550,Chakki atta (delivery) 1,550-1,555,Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 200,Shakti bhog (10 kg) 200,Roller flour mill 840-860 (50 kg),Maida 950- 70 (50 kg) and Sooji 1,000-1,050 (50kg).
