Patna, Jan 24 (ANI): District Superintendent of Police A.S. Thakur on Sunday said that Janata Dal (United) MLA Sarfaraz Alam has been arrested and interrogation is underway. Meanwhile, maintaining his stand, arrested Sarfaraz Alam today said the charges of molestation that have been made against him are completely false and baseless. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on January 17 when Alam allegedly misbehaved with the couple on board the train. An FIR was registered against him with GRP Patna the next day. The MLA was allegedly travelling without ticket and was drunk. A footage of the purported incident was also aired by the media.
