R Madhavan stuck in Leh, Ladakh after incessant rainfall in Kashmir; Aly Goni couldn't speak to his father because of network disruption

The incessant rain in Jammu & Kashmir has not only rendered R Madhavan stranded in Leh, Ladakh post a shoot, but also made it extremely challenging for Aly Goni in Mumbai to contact his father and other relatives in Jammu.

The Delhi Police detained the protesters for allegedly violating prohibitory orders passed a few hours before the contingent reached Delhi’s border on Monday. Members of Leh Apex Body, which organised the protest, claimed that the police were about to release some detainees on Tuesday but then did not proceed with the release.
