Latur (Maharashtra), Feb 24 (ANI): In a controversial incident, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Yusuf Sheikh was forced to chant 'Jai Bhawani' by local goons. The cop was also paraded and assaulted. The group then went away but came back the next morning and started shouting slogans against the head constable and also allegedly assaulted Awaskar when he visited the spot again. Sheikh was allegedly paraded along with saffron flags. Sheikh said a group of men entered the police station and started beating him and others with wooden sticks. He added that they also abused him and asked him to chant 'Jai Bhavani' in order to show them respect.
