Srinivasan exits India Cements, sells 32.72% stake to UltraTech Cement for Rs 3,954 crore

India Cements is currently controlled by the N Srinivasan and family. Srinivasan was earlier Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

This announcement comes a month after Adani Group, the second largest cement maker announced the acquisition of Hyderabad-based Penna Cement for Rs 10,422 crore, which will add 14 MTPA, taking its capacity to 93 MTPA.
