Indira Gandhi centre to teach Ramayana, Mahabharata, Vedas from this year

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts has launched courses in Hindu Studies, Bharatiya Jnana Parampara, Indian Literature and Museology this year. From next year, the centre plans to widen its reach by holding online classes as well, officials said.

The old building located at Janpath road is set to be demolished as part of the Central Vista Redevelopment project. It has temporarily been shifted to the Janpath hotel, which has been renovated for the purpose.
